DJ Revive brings the mid 90s hardcore vibes with the Nostalgia EP on 4 The Core Recordings!

Who wants some 94/95 style Happy Hardcore? First up is Lost Boys sampling ‘Cry Little Sister’, a huge slice of pounding kickdrums, rolling amens, hyper happy pianos and manic rave riffs! ‘Get On Up’ ventures a little further up the Happy/UK Hardcore timeline with more of a 1999 style trancey number.

The Ibeefa-riffic chords get a nice injection of rolling breaks and hands in the air keys. ‘Never Give Up’ has the feel of a Slipmatt tune circa 97-99 blending House, Hardcore and Junglistic amens for a high energy rushing tune with classic Italo style pianos.

‘Rock Your Body’ also has that signature Slippers feel with uptempo melodies, housey vox and plenty of crunchy breakbeats. If pure golden era hardcore is what your looking for.
